Larrivée OOO-40M Legacy - Mint!
Mint condition. Hard case included. $1650, ship to ConUSA. Made in USA. Purchased new late 2021. Specs here: https://www.larrivee.com/products/000-40-legacy-series
I bought this guitar in part to better understand what a 12-fret guitar was all about. It is everything I expected and more. Wonderful resonance – you can feel it as well as hear it. I've come to realize that I play this the least of all my instruments, mostly because I usually leave it in alternate tunings (it somehow lends itself to that). So when I reach for something to play I often bypass this one - “Nah... gotta retune.” I also have enough spruce/mahogany guitars. So I'm fine-tuning my stable with something new: another Larrivée 40 Legacy Series guitar. I like them that much. Only difference is the new one is Indian rosewood; I haven't had a rosewood guitar for a long time. I don't think subjective statements about the sound of a guitar hold much water, but I can say this about this instrument: This is the only guitar I have ever had that I haven't experimented with different brands of strings until I found the sound that I felt was exactly right. OEM strings every time (D'Addario EXP16 12-53); I never wanted this guitar to sound any different.
