Default Larry Pattis' Random Chance

Just "picked this up," and it is awesome.

Well done, Larry.

Thanks for this, Marty.

It's always nice to know that someone out there is enjoying the music!

"Random Chance" was my first CD after dropping out of medical school (when I was already an old-guy, 35 years young), and then spending a good number of years writing & woodshedding. It came out in 1997 (re-issued in '98, with a couple of changes for the second "pressing") during the same time I had an extended arrangement to study with Pierre Bensusan at his home in France.

RC is a good representation of my work up to that point...and now I also have two subsequent releases, "Hands of Time" and "What Tomorrow Brings" that are a furtherance of that same direction, with original compositions.

Larry,

If "Three A.M." was named for when it was composed, I can only ask that you stay up late lots more! It's my favorite for the moment.

Yep, up at 3, after a long day running a high-fever. Woke up, fever gone...but the tune is mostly about the fever. There's more to the story (as always), but ya' gotta leave something to the imagination...
