Default Custom Elijah Jewel coming along nicely!

I ordered this in December or January and hope to have it later this month or early June. It's a dread with sinker redwood over walnut. He has been keeping me up to date with pics along the way. I can't wait to get it!

Keep in mind these pics are of the unfinished front, back, and sides. He's working on the neck now. I'll keep this updated as he sends more pics. 15827.jpeg15830.jpg15831.jpeg

Beautiful! As a happy Elijah Jewel owner (mine is Port Orford Cedar/Walnut) I know you are going to love your guitar when it's finished. I don't know how much longer he's going to keep his prices this low when his work is comparable to luthiers who charge twice as much. I was so glad I took a chance on this relatively new builder and I know you are going to feel the same way.

Well, that looks like it's going to be awesome. When it's finished would you like to send it to me so I can make sure for you?

Steadfastly, ha, yeah, let me think on that one...

Yes, I think she's looking great so far. I can't wait to try it out.

I will wait but I won't hold my breath ('cause I don't want to turn purple).

Growing up in the sixties, seventies and eighties, I have pretty strong likes in music. I cover a lot of ground of what I like from rocking Beatles, Stones, Who, to Donovan, Gordon lightfoot as just a few examples. I listened to your original song "The Captain Finds Peace" And I totally loved everything about it. Lyrics fantastic..and the way you delivered it with all the instrumentation & gentle build up. Kudos to you, and thanks for sharing with the world.
