Default 00 suggestions

I have an Eastman 10-00 and a Pono 00-40V and will recommend either without reservation. I prefer the thicker neck carve of the Eastman but the Pono’s neck isn’t thin. So it’s just a matter of personal preference.
You can’t go wrong with either.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far.

I think I’ve narrowed it down to some flavor of Martin 00 short scale. The Eastman 10OO-TC-SB is still in contention.

I stumbled upon the Yamaha FS3. Will see if I can find one to try locally.

The FS3 is not a 00.

Indeed, within 1/16" (lower bout). And because of the deeper and longer body, the FS3 is actually a larger guitar than a 000.
