Birch & Smith guitar strap
I currently have an Iconic Leathers 3.25" wide padded leather guitar strap that I've been quite happy with, except that the surface of the obviously non-leather material around the padding is flaking off.
I'm now looking at this Birch & Smith strap: https://amazon.com/Leather-Whiskey-A..._hp_atf_m&th=1 Has anyone here used this strap? Rolled up, will it fit in a guitar case? Are there better options in this price range? Thanks.

Not familiar with that brand. Check out Walker and Williams guitar straps. I've been pleased with mine and several people here have recommended them.

I have a Walker and Williams strap on my Gretsch electric, and I like it a lot. However, I have seen reports of the surface of the material around the padding flaking off.

Walker and Williams are nice, and a real bargin, but the inside is slick and the guitar will slide around. If that doesn't bother you, they are good.
Check out Right On straps. That's what I am using right now and like them a lot. Inside is suade so they stay put. |

Thar strap should be an excellent choice. It looks like it will roll up the way you want it to.
Here is my pick for a inexpensive yet very nice strap. https://www.amazon.com/Perris-Leathe...2&sr=8-16&th=1
