I have my Yamaha FG-401 for sale on craigslist now.
I am little torn, as it is a very good 'beater' guitar.

As for the Martin 000X1, it has been up on craigslist
for about 2 weeks now, and it seems only I am
interested in it, so it is not getting much attention.
The guy will not take anything below $200 for it.
So, just wondering if I could flip it for $300, seeing that
nobody is grabbing it for $200..

Is this a good deal?
Is this a good guitar?
Thanks y'all.
I loved mine. It's a surprisingly great sounding guitar, especially for the $500 I paid for mine. $200 is even better. You can hear mine in my YouTube videos.

If this is the one in Stoneham, I'd at least go and look at it. Looks mighty nice!

I didn't, I still have it. I got a high-end guitar, so the 000X1 is my backup guitar now. Right now it's with my sister as her first guitar

You sure do make that 000X1 sing, John! It's stuff like what you did here that made me go out a buy another one after I hastily sold the first one to offset the cost of my first one. Mercifully, I paid *exactly* what I sold the first one for! I won't be selling *this* one.

I've had both the GS Mini and the 000X1 and I preferred the Martin for tone, playability and feel. The Mini felt like just that , a mini , and I never could bond with it.

I agree, I prefer the 000x1 to the mini outright. Might not be much to look out but plays great and has solid tone.

this is exactly what I am worried about

I think I want a GS Mini. I liked them at GC the 3 times
I went there to play them. My fear is, I will buy one,
then not bond with it. By then, I will have missed-out
on the Martin.

ugh, GAS and indecision are really bugging me
