I think that these cooked tops would sound better than a rock, especially after a Tone-Rite treatment. If you really want to find out, I can loan you a Tone-Rite.

"T2R"... can't beat that for tone, response, volume, head room, balance, and or nuance. The perfect guitar IF it also has gold Waverlies, FWI or Ivory nut saddle and pins, with matching end pin, a TorTis guard, and an Elliot Elite capo all housed in a custom Calton case.

And now for the real answer:

The guitar sounds AMAZING!

Of course, it sounded amazing before the ToneRite.

Did it improve and by how much? Hard to say with 100% certainty since it's now been a week since I played it.

However, my impression is that it's even more responsive than it was before.

Since torrefied tops are just coming into their own and tone-rite's are still questionable- your guess is as good as anyone's.

All kidding aside, I believe you. I have ToneRites for both guitar and mandolin. I have treated more than a handful of guitars and mandolins, and it works. On some instruments, the change is dramatic. While on others, it is barely noticeable if at all. It depends on the instrument. If people don't want to believe, that's fine with me, no skin off my teeth either way.

If you drive your car faster than the speed of light, then turn on the headlights, will they shine backwards?

If you tonerite your car will itdrive better?

No, the frequency of the light will just shift to Violet. Speed acts as a light capo.

I doubt it. The roads in my area have been Tone Riteing my car for years with no effect noted.
