Semi-serious question, I suppose. Really, just an "attention grabbing' thread title . . . and noting that I was actually doing it.

I think you read/played it just right.

I had hoped that my original post made it clear that I WAS trying it.

Sorry about this but has anyone even contemplated what would happen if you torrefied a Tone-Rite?

Do you mean - two Tone-Rites on one Terrified Top?

Well, there are the three Ts of guitar: Tone Rite, torrified top, and tortoiseshell picks. You can have any two of the three, but all three simultaneously make the instrument so loud it can damage people's hearing and break windows.

Also, if you use the Tone Rite on a Hound Dog resonator guitar, be sure to use it only 1/7 of the usual time period.

Everyone knows they would cancel each other out and it's just back to square one. Now stop being silly.

This thread reminds me of the time I taped buttered toast to my cat's back, butter side up , then dropped her. Since toast always lands butter side down and cats always land on their feet, this produced a duality of outcome, a dilemma that nature could not solve, hence the cat simply levitated in midair.
I could never repeat the results of the experiment because the cat fled in terror.

This is entirely b.s. of course, but anyone who will buy a Tone Rite will probably buy this story as well.
