Here are the measurements of my Dan Crary capo. I primarily use it on guitars with necks over 1 3/4" wide.

Dan Crary
2.185” wide
1.156” max
0.790” min
59 grams

It is my understanding that Dave Elliot in Oregon, not Ptacek, is the maker of the Dan Crary Capo.

That could be true now, but I'm pretty sure it was not early on. Look at the OP's photo and my Dan Crary capo in post#3. They look nearly identical to each other, but quite different from the Dave Elliot.
