Oh my.

I'm thinking that there must have been a better way to actualize whatever marketing or honorific plan underlies this instrument.

But, maybe I'm wrong.

I can say: "Not my cup of tea".

What an act of vandalism . . .

I wouldn't give that house room. I get HUGE pleasure out of the colour/patina etc of the 'plain' Sitka.

But that's just my opinion.

I actually just addressed that question to Martin in an email.

Did the drugs kick in? Did someone go crazy?

So I lined up all my Martins, pointed to the photo of That Guitar, and said -- "see that; don't ever be like that." I think they got the message and also passed it on to my 1964 LG-1.

Man, that's a waste of wood and human effort.

And it's a disservice to Charlie and Ira, whose music went far beyond this album cover, which oft appears in top ten lists of worst cover art.

I wouldn't give cash on the barrel head for one.

My respect for Martin has taken a major hit........pathetic and pointless, talk about jumping the shark...........unprintable thoughts.

I am pretty taken aback by some of the comments here bashing Martin. Just because it's not your cup of tea doesn't mean Martin is any less of a company for producing these.

No, I don't like it. But I recognize that obviously others do.
