I have a Taylor 324ce v-class and Martin 000-15m.

They are different beasts and equally as lovely.

That being said, my Martin was $1000 after tax used (bought recently), and my Taylor was $1600 bought used... So it's a significant difference.

The all-mahogany guitar I have stuck with for many years now is a Harmony H165.

There are X braced H-165s around. I've converted a few of them myself, as have several others around these forums. Not too pricey. Especially fror a rehabilitated train wreck

The Martin 000-15SM would be my pick. Matter of fact, it’s really what got my acoustic obsession started lol! It was my first American made acoustic, and it had me sold at the very first strum.
