Monitors as good as the AKG K701?

I have a pair of AKG K701 headphones. The sound quality is just incredible. It beats everything I've ever heard.
Is there a pair of monitors I can buy that can equal these headphones, or come close?
I have HS8 monitors from Yamaha, and they do not.

Yes, there are great monitors, but you might need to second mortgage to purchase them! (Genelecs, perhaps?)

A good set of phones are very addictive, and it's hard to find something in an economically priced powered monitor. Just as important as the room where they will be used. Room treatment isn't just for microphones.

I totally get it! We're not alone...

On the plus side, there are a few well known guys who mix with phones, they just work hard to know how their mixes will translate to other systems.
