Default Anybody ever try EB hybrid acoustic slinky strings?

Talkin' 'bout these here.

I use the electric hybrids (9-46) on my electrics (fancy that), but I don't know if I'd be able to adjust to something that light on acoustic -- especially with a plain G string.

Figured I'd ask around to see if anybody has first hand experience before I order a pack to try ...

Not too many takers, I suppose -- especially on a board where so many folks use 13s, huh?

I just put a set of Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Med/Light on my Taylor 810. I like them so far.

I tried 10's on my Dred once but they were to tinny sounding. I would not go lower than 12's on an Accoustic guitar.

I normally use D'Addario EXP Med/Lites on my dred, 12-56. I tried the EB med/lites because my guitar shop was out of EXP's

Ernie Ball makes a really good acoustic string, but those are more like what I have on my Strat.

These EB strings are a great substitute for the Martin SP4200 I normally use.
