Default Rainsong H-OM New Carbon Fiber Truss Rod Cover

I never liked the black\white truss cover on my Rainsong. I picked up some Carbon Fiber and made my own.

I’m more of a Cat and Dog person. Send me a template - I’ll make you one and you can add the Shark and the Jaws background music.

That looks fantastic! Much better than the solid black IMO.

Nice Job On Your Carbon Fiber Truss Rod Cover!

I could never understand (other than likely cheaper cost) why RainSong put on their guitars the plastic-laminate truss-rod covers that deflect the strings as they go over it! Surely, they could use scrap carbon fiber to make the thin truss-rod covers that don't interfere with string path? I bought a carbon-fiber truss-rod cover from Euphony, a company started by an employee of the now defunct MacNichol Guitars And Mandolins shop offered for sale several years ago.

My X20 has no truss rod, so I wonder if this a make/break for you Carbonites? Other than sanding down the saddle several years ago, no other adjustments on my baby...Oh yeah...Nashville tuned for 8 months or so...
