Default 2 5/32" Platemate????

Does anyone know of a source for a 2 5/32" style Platemate?

Mitchel's Platemate currently does not manufacture one for a 2 5/32" bridge spacing. I use their 2 1/8" and 2 3/16" platemate product on my guitars and consider them cheap insurance against wear and tear. I thought with Martin going to a 2 5/32" bridge spacing on their Standard Series, that a 2 5/32" Mitchel's Platemate would soon follow. I tried fudging a 2 1/8" and 2 3/16" platemate on the 2 5/32" bridge, but it wasn't close enough for me to commit to the install.

Thanks,

Tommy

Ditto. A strip of brass or possibly even aluminum stock from the home improvement store, then some time spent with a drill (or drill press). Done deal.

Default all true

A metal bridgeplate reinforcement is just a hunk of metal with six holes drilled in it. For someone to peddle a dime's worth of metal for twenty bucks....

Someone's suggested a bit of brass sheet and some quality time with a drill press, and it's done. Heartily agree. Hardest part is cutting the finished piece out of the donor slab of metal without a lot of ripples and waves.
