Default How many use ZoomH1 (or similar) to record acoustic guitsar?

Hey all,

I have an SM57, a cheap MXL condenser, and a couple other microphones, but lately I've been getting addicted to recording my guitar with the ZoomH1 cheapy portable mic!

The main reason this is happening, is I have this cool clamp thing I bought, that allows me to set a microphone in a fixed position on my guitar. Because of that, I can set the H1 super close to the guitar - like 6 inches from the soundhold, pointed towards it, and around the 12th fret - without having to worry about the volume changing erratically as the guitar moves with my playing.

It might just be because stereo sounds so much cooler than mono (and my lack of skill faking stereo with cleverly split EQ's), or that I don't have any great "stereo pair" mics... but ****... I'm in love with the sound.

Is anyone else recording quite like this? Or just me?
