I don't remember what I was searching for, but I stumbled upon a recording of Cavatina by Stanley Myers on YouTube. This piece had such an impact on me. Ever since then, I have been gassing for nylon.
So yesterday, I brought one home. It has a spruce top, EIR back and sides... laminated. Yes... I know... When I was trying out the guitars, I didn't know who made them or what they were made out of. I was avoiding buying a brand or getting dazzled by specs. This one stood out. It just so happened that it was one of the only laminates in the bunch. I had to put aside my prejudices and buy this amazing sounding guitar. It has a deep voice with sparkling highs and a very balanced tone. The seller also did a double take at the sound and had to double check to make sure it was indeed laminate. Here it is...  Let me know if the picture isn't working for you.

Congrats on the nylon string. There's no shame in all-laminate. If YOU like the guitar, that's all that matters. At least you don't have to worry about humidity issues!
