The list is growing, but a few I use a lot:
  • Guitar Toolkit - Chord, scale and now progression reference, metronome and tuner, plus various other buts and pieces
  • Capo - A "slow downer" app that obviously retains pitch, and does chord detection, looping sections, etc ... iOS and Mac
  • OnSong - Songbook app with a million different capabilities .... needs one usability work, but I think best in its category

I use Linkesoft Songbook. It uses the chordpro format. I get most of my songs from ultimate-guitar.com and use Chordsmith to convert the "chords over lyrics" format in ultimate-guitar to the chordpro format.

Linkesoft Songbook
Chordsmith

Edit-Chordsmith is a PC/Mac java application.

Anytune Pro+ - sophisticated slow-downer
Tempo - very nice metronome. There's a free version but the paid version has lots of extra useful features.

+1 for Anytune Pro+. A great practice aid! Loop phrases or whole songs, change speed and/or key. There's even a function that gradually speeds things up as you learn.

Hi all
I like "Guitarist's Reference" it's got
Triads
Chords
Scales, Arpeg & various tunings.
All the chords they have are also shown in a number of positions up/down the fret board.

and easy to use as well
