No. I can't say I own a keeper on account of this thing called mortality. Ask me about my harp.

No....I feel bad that I didn't give a guitar to my son's friend who really liked it ...... it has sentimental value; first guitar I bought.

I haven't touched it since I got it back. Better to let someone else play it than to just let it sit there.

Thanks Dave, I stand corrected! I thought the original all mahogany 17's came out in the 30's?! I don't know the history like you...maybe jus' the dread size?

My Takamine EF75 with old growth Brazilian rosewood. Just google it and you'll see what I'm talking about.

The original 15 and 17 models were never made in dreadnaught size. A lot of folks don't realize that the modern 15 Series is a new group of guitars and specs. The old 15 & 17 models were only in small guitars (0-15 & 00-17/000-17) [and then there is the OLD ones even smaller!].

In 2004 I began began to research what would be my dream guitar. Studying from Goodall to Doolin, McPherson caught and held my attention. In '05, I had the money, pulled the trigger and haven't regretted it. It's been a familiar companion throughout joys and challenges from relationships to homecomings from deployments, family get together a to cross-country moves, new friends to departed loved ones.

I continue to enjoy this guitar so much that this past year I downsized and sold my classical, 12-string, and a mix of other 6-strings. All good guitars I'd held on for their niche fits, but just not as much fun to me. It's now just the Mc and my "beater" guitar. There's so much good history there and future fun to be had that I don't foresee getting rid of it.

Yes, My Eastman AC-OM2. Lots of reasons. Love the sound - matches my vocals better than anything I have ever played. I payed a pittance for an all solid guitar here - $450.00 OTD so the bang for buck is incredible but I would only yield about 1/2 if I resold it. Love the neck. My Spruce tops may be gone one day but not this one.

Don't know if I will never part with it, but the last out of my fold (unless it's given to a grandchild or something) will be my Martin 00-18 SH. Sentimental value above my (current) favorite McIlroy A30c.

My Taylor XXX-KE.... It is one of the lightest and most responsive guitars I have ever played. Not to mention the Koa on it which is quite stunning as well!

I made the mistake of selling my Takamine Tf87 cedar/koa when I was really in need of cash, and I've been searching for another ever since. So if I got it back, I'd never part with it
