Greetings all! Brief history, 1st picked up the guitar when I was 40, played till I was 55 and stopped cold, here i am 65 and have been playing again with a fervor for about 2 months now (a 69' F30 nt Guild).

Music history, learned to read music some and took lessons in classical then went on to pick up some Delta Blues, a little Flaminco, some 3 chord Country with other crap thrown in for good measure.

Now, I'm everything BUT structured in my playing. A lot of the old stuff is coming back through muscle memory, but mostly I'm teaching myself to run the fingerboard and learning the CAGED chord system (starting today LOL). Lookin forward to learnin more by pickin yer brains along the way.

Welcome!
I've only been here a little while myself.
But I'm learning a lot, and interacting with a great group of people.

Welcome. Your '69 Guild is a really nice guitar. They made some of the nicest ones when they were in Westerly then.
