Does anyone use the Peterson Strobostomp Classic tuner?
Thinking of getting one..Looks like a great tuner / DI combo, how do you find it?
I want to know something specific - can it be powered completely (DI and tuner section) via phantom power through its XLR output? The manual isnt super clear on that :-/

I've had a Peterson Strobo-Stomp for several years.
I power it with a power supply I use for that and my pedals. Not sure about the question you're asking. I hope someone can advise you on that. I wouldn't use another brand after the performance and success of the Peterson.

The DI can be phantom powered, but not the tuner - it draws more current than the 48v phantom power can supply.
Cheers, David

...i have one of the originals on my board and it has never failed me in almost 15 years...i've tried others including the SR turbo tuner but the Petersen has never been unseated....and from what i gather the newer versions are that much better....
