Default Drive by Truckers-Tiny Desk Concert

Holy crap what a performance but, then again there don't seem to be any bad Tiny Desk concerts.

Not on Youtube yet but you can watch it here.

Haha, listening to this via podcast right now. It's fantastic. I love the Tiny Desk Concert series. The Andrew Bird one is incredible as well.

The new album is sitting in my iTunes right now but, I haven't had the chance to listen to it yet. This has pushed it up to the next level.

Thanks for posting this! The wife and I are going to Asheville next weekend and the DBTs are playing Friday and Saturday night shows at the Orange Peel - we'll be at one for sure...maybe both.

Love the first two songs. I usually gravitate to Cooley songs but this album Patterson takes the cake for me. Was lucky enough to see them perform their First Listen recording at OPB in Portland. They played the entire album front to back in front of me and about 20 others.

Anyone know what pickup Patterson is running in that parlour?

Has a pretty nice strummed sound.

Love it. Wonder what gauge strings he has on that wee guitar.

Is it just me or do they sound a lot like Wilco - especially on that first tune?
