Eric Church solo set with his new Hummingbird.
Posting this as there have been a few threads about the Eric Church signature Hummingbird. It appears this was a special event for the employees Pulaski furniture. Pulaski released an Eric Church line of relic furniture which he helped design. I like performances like this where you have an artist that is typically over produced on stage stripping it down to just a vocal/acoustic going direct into the board (or so it sounds). He seems to be fighting with his guitar tone quite a bit. The Eric Church model comes with a LR Baggs VTC (Active Element) UST Piezo pikcup and in the video you can hear the distinctive UST sound. It's a good example of why for vocal-guitar performances you really need something a bit better. At least considering putting a Fishman imaging DI box in front of it or something comparable. The guitar specs http://www.gibson.com/Products/Acous...bird-Dark.aspx And here's a video of Eric Church throwing his Hummingbird across the stage to a unprepared roadie who misses as it crashes top first into the floor. I'n not a big Eric Church fan, but for those who are I thought this might be amusing.

The guitar toss miss happens at about the 8 minute mark.

I never heard of the guy but in the first video all I could hear was this annoying string "buzz" and had to shut it off after 2 mins. I am also not a fan of that type of music. As for the guitar toss...I got only one thing to add about that....
