Looking for any information on a Gretsch
I am looking for any information on a Gretsch 6022 C Rancher cutaway.
I am looking at possibly picking this guitar up or trading for it, however I cannot find out any info on this model with any detail. I would like to know what they sell for what the top is made of as well as the back and sides and neck, where these are made, I believe this one is an 1990's model from the little info I could find out. here is what I do know, it is a 6 string with gold tuners and inlay of a bull on the head stock, it is an acoustic/electric with a cutaway and triangular sound hole, the color is an lite red almost orange. sorry I don't have the serial number yet. Thanks for your help. David |

weren't these all laminate, or only the top was solid? i've tried a couple of them over the years and didn't care for the tone but they do look pretty cool. a quick search showed some threads and at least one video which may prove helpful. that said, unless you have to have that look or the guitar is priced really aggressively, there are many guitars on the market that in my humble opinion would be better choices than a Rancher. but, they do look really cool. good luck with whatever decision you go with.
