Default Alvarez MD 60

I am interested in knowing the forums opinion on Alvarez guitars. More specifically the MD 60. For some reason I have all-solid on my must have list and I have heard good things about Alvarez manufacturing over the last few years. Any thoughts?

Default Alvarez MD 60

I think they are underrated and a good bang for the buck. I played a MD350 rosewood and engelman spruce model awhile back and was very impressed. We checked it side by side with a couple of high end Taylor's and it sounded and played just as well. Those are discontinued now but if you can find one I would recommend getting it.

I had an MD60 and MD80 for a while and enjoyed them both. I think Alvarez guitars are underrated, as well, like Indy Mark said.

I bought both of them when they were being blown out at $300 a pop. They come with a semi-hardshell case (polyfoam).
