That is probably what I should do, is build a pedal board with pedals that fit my needs.. Heck it might be fun going through pedals

Gotta question.... Where should the EQ pedal go in the chain?

I'm trying to avoid to much gear... So I didn't want to take a mixer... but maybe that would be better than a EQ pedal??

I followed Bob Womack's advice and went the Line 6 modeler route.

Still looking for the right pedal/pedals for going direct with my Electric guitar...
I just pre-ordered the Boss IR2
And I'm going to look into single pedals, pedal board etc..
I like the idea of having a pedalboard that fits both my acoustic and Electric guitar needs...
Still might buy a Joyo American since mine went bad...

I've been playing around with the Behringer GDI-21 I have kept it on Tweed-Clean it still has a bit of dirt with the gain almost off not a perfect solution but fun while I wait for the Joyo and Boss to get here..

I'll keep the Zoom on my desk for recording and headphone use... It doesn't sound that good into my PA... I had to try it again against the Behringer to figure that out lol

Thats what I have
I do have a Hybrid 20 watt Tube Amp with different cab sims but the only time I use the cab sims is when using the Head Phones for silent practice

The rest of the time it serves as my Wet amp in my 2 amp Wet/Dry system

My board is set up for the Wet/Dry system. On it I have analog Comp, Delay, Chorus and two analog drive pedals , and a digital Reverb

I might be crazy but I ordered a Fender Bass Studio 40 to use for my guitar...It has effects including Acoustic settings..Reverb...Delay and a bunch of bass amp models..(not that I'd use most..probably the Bassman setting)
