Looks very pretty and well-made, lovely back wood. I like the understated lack of bling and shiny things.

I purchased it, very lightly used, off Reverb from a great guy in N. California who realized he wanted a narrower nut width. He got it directly from the US Sales Rep from SGI Music, which is the US distributor for Furch.

Congrats. I have the same exact model and it gets the most playing time amongst my guitar. Enjoy playing...

Beautiful Furch!! I finally got my second one into my hands yesterday. If I can figure out how to post pics, I'll share both as soon as it's back from the Luthier getting set up just the way I want it

Congrats!

I'm not sure about walnut, but my G series Cocobolo loves 80/20 strings to my ears. Good luck with the string search!

Don’t wait around, they are amazing - we have three at home now! All have great woods, their own individual characteristics and are so easy to play.

I’m a bit of a fan as you can tell...[emoji6]

Default NGD: Furch Blue OMSW

Furch is one of the best kept acoustic guitar secrets...but not for long. I bought my first one, a Blue Plus Cedar/Mahogany and loved it so much I went back a year later and bought the SW....the challenge I have now is deciding what one to play.

Awesome guitar. I played a Blue a couple months ago and it was fantastic. I'm a big Furch fan.

Hi and belated congratulations! Could you tell us a little about the tone? How do you think it might compare to the other Blue models like the MM and the CM? I am looking for something good for folk/blues fingerstyle. Thanks!

I read your post and immediately thought of this video. (This gentleman is playing a Violet spruce over layered mahogany—so you can be sure that a Blue model takes things up several levels with its much higher quality of all-solid woods.)

Well, I do not have the guitar anymore. However, it was a wonderful little OM that I think would serve any style of music well. The spruce/walnut combo is a good one, and Furch does very well it. The guitar was a finger style machine.
