There's no trolling here. The language I use reflect what and how I feel.
- I am genuinely shocked to see a rough& cheap plastic truss rod cover on a $3k+ guitar - other may like the charm or the historical nature of it (and it seems the majority her do), I don't. - I compare the SJ to my other instruments which are flawless, and yes, it does make me feel embarrassed for Gibson. Maybe they don't care. I probably shouldn't but when I do something, I like to do it well and be proud of what I do, but that's me. Anyway, case closed. And I'm glad a learned a few things about Gibson's truss rod cover history. I didn't know it is 'normal', even on their top of the line models. I'll change the cover - thanks to a few posts, I managed to get quite a few options to do so. |
