Thank you Coler!

I'm so glad you thought this came across okay. I really appreciate the electric guitar tones from both the Rickenbacker 12-string and the Les Paul, too. It was an easy song to sing but fun, as well.

Thanks for your kind words. I hope all is well for you and your family!

Hi Bob,

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed this cover. I am a Mark Knopfler aficionado: I have all his Dire Straits and solo albums and love his music. He's also a good guy, which is important to me. I really did not realize that this song was 20 years old. Seems like it just came out yesterday. Time flies, as you know.

And yes, I am A-ok ✅. I have a new leash on life.

I hope all is well for you, Bob.

I love Knopfler too. He is unique and has created his own sound. Great cover and you captured a bit of his magic.

Thank you Joe,

Thanks for taking time to listen and comment. Much appreciated. I'm pleased that you felt this came out okay.

Mark Knopfler does have his own sound; to me, he is unique, a real original, his own person with his own musical style. It's fun to work on his songs just to figure out how he does things.

I hope all is well for you and your family, Joe! All the best...

Hi Joe,

Thanks so much for taking time to listen and comment! I'm so glad you thought this came out well.

And yes, the Rickenbacker 12-string is sure a cool guitar! I am extremely fortunate in having it! I don't get to play it very much, so I was glad to get a chance here on this song.

And I really enjoyed watching and listening to your new video, Joe! Wonderful job on that!

- Glenn

Thank you Barry!

Yes, the song was easy to sing pitched where Mark Knopfler sang it. And it does not require a lot of vocal range to sing this; it's more of a talking kind of song, like his "Sultans of Swing."

And thanks for the compliments on the Ric 12-string. It is such a cool guitar!

I hope all is well for you, Barry!
