Wink I luv my 614ce

I've been wanting a GS since they came out...now I want an 816ce...yesterday I took my 614ce to Guitar World in Nashville and AB'D it with "almost" every Taylor in the place and decided that there just isn't enough difference between then to take the $1000 hit that i'd have to take...
I left with my guitar and my money and my wife thinks I'm a grown up now....

I have to guess you have given time for you 614 to "open up" as they say . . . it's hard to beat a sweet 614!!!

Default cool...

it is a good feeling walking out of a place, knowing that what you've got still has "it"
still... i'm curious about an adirondack or redwood/maple GS-Cust though

We're so proud. Led to temptation, you resisted.

I never thought I liked maple guitars, but I played a custom maple 815 that was real nice. It wasn't loud but very even sounding.

Funny, that. I just got an 816ce. If I get another Taylor, it will probably be a 614ce.

But I ain't tradin' nuthin'. The only way to buy a guitar is to buy ANOTHER guitar

Yeah, but I'll probably get a Martin OOO28V first.
