Default I got a new guitar (Martin Content)

I don't post here much, but I am excited to own my very first Martin. It is a 2005 HD28V. Nice contrast to my Taylor 414ce.

That is a very nice guitar, congrats. I have always loved The HD-28 and the V is even sweeter. I'm sure she sounds as good as she looks

the taylor is easier to play, but sounds quiet and weak compared to the martin.

You can tweak the Martin setup to some degree to make it easier, but the Taylors are able to set amazingly low action due to the straightness of those necks.

Beautiful guitar. Congrats, and welcome to the Martin club! I have an HD-28V variant myself. Love it.

Hey Rich2k4......

If you had named this thread "Martin HD-28V", I'll bet you would have had twice as many responses already........

Can't go wrong with a Martin. I like the vintage look - aged toner on the top. Already broken in and probably (definitely) has a great tone. Great choice.
