Washburn budget range
I have seen some fairly good reviews on the Washburn WD10SCE and the WD15sce.
Are they basically made from the same factory as the Fender CD acoustic guitar Range? Washburn seems to be like Marmite you either love em' or hate em' . Lol. Dave |

Hard to say without research, but I think a lot of import guitars from different manufacturers may be built at the same factories. I recently played an Alvarez acoustic/electric and was taken by how much the look/feel/sound was eerily similar to my Washburn. Not that it was a bad thing - both were great.

I have the WD27SCE. I believe it was made exclusively for Guitar Center and is very similar to the WD25SCE. From what I can tell it just has different electronics and maybe more abalone detailing. Nice guitar actually - bought it used for huge discount from GC.

Sounds good. Is that the solid spruce top with rosewood back and sides?
I like the simple fishman pick up with just volume bass treble & phase button. Dave |

It is. It cleaned up very nice too. My electronics are the EQ4T system. Honestly I haven't really put the electronics through their paces except for the electronic tuner.
