Default Wound string on 12-string's octave 4th string

The recommended string guages for a LKSM 12-string when tuning down to C# are .013/.013, .017/.017, .030/.014, .039/.018, .045/.027, .056/.035. Has anyone used a wound .018 on the octave fourth string (what would now be the octave B string)?

If so, how did it affect the sound?

Hey Lonny, on my 12 strings I always use a wound octave. The plain steel string sounds very flabby. Leo K. always switches to wound 4th octave, lower tuning almost requires one. It really makes a more powerful sound. Mr. monkey
