Default String Tension Pro

I've been experimenting with adjusting the string tension on one of my guitars by dropping the tuning down a half step.
With medium strings, it makes it much easier to hit some of the bar chords for my aging fingers.

Came across this (D'Addario referred) site that allows one to input the string gauges, scale lengths and retunings on the strings and it will calculate the string tension for you.

Interesting that my down tuning a half step is pretty much equivalent of installing a set of lights on my dread.

Maybe this will be of interest for some as it was for me - try playing around with it a bit -
