-Is that a Japanese site? Possibly guitars aimed at a Euro audience, I like the product though, nice prices too, maybe they are built for Japanese folk.

Does anyone have one of those Yairi's? Real Interesting I noticed signed at bottom of one guitar ,Ken Yairi, possible brother to the guy who just passed away? Some real beautiful guitars.

If you have not seen the 15 minute video above, you are really missing how these guitars were made, some tools I know that I have never seen before, plus that, it shows them installing a truss rod in the neck slot, very interesting video.

I don't know how much a guitar weighs in a case but if you do, you can get a shipping estimate based on the weight of the package on the rakuten website.

I think once shipping is added, the price won't be much different than an Alvarez Yairi bought in the states. ymmv

I did the math and shipping for a guitar would be around $140. Actually, that's not bad. I had a guitar shipped to me from across the US and the shipping was $90. In that context, $140 shipping from Japan doesn't seem so bad. Of course it will prolly come by boat.
