Sigma SDR-28S D-12 Fret opinions wanted
First time poster, long time viewer. Any one have experience with the European Sigma's ? Specifically the 12 fret dread? They apparently only sell overseas as the US dealers don't seem to carry them. Are they still associated with Martin?

Not associated with Martin though they still make Martin lookalikes, as well as Gibson and Taylor but they also make original stuff.
I haven't played the 12 fret model but I've been impressed with the Sigmas I have played, I think they're a decent guitar, I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up with one someday. AMI owns Sigma, in Canada they're now marketed under AMI Sigma, like the U.S. I think in Europe they may still make them with the script logo? Whatever the case, they make good guitars judging by the ones I have played. |

AMI sigma’s are excellent guitars especially their all solid wood models, I wrote a recent thread about mine (link below) which I’ve had for several years. I don’t have direct experience of the 12 fret dreadnought although I have looked at it online a few times and it looks excellent in terms of spec. I’ve no doubt it would be an excellent guitar.
