Collings C10 vs C10-35

I have a Collings C10 that I really like. I wonder if the body depth on the C10-35 adds enough fullness or difference to make it worth considering as addition to the C10. Has anyone played both and can provide a comparison? If you could only have one, which would it be?

This is not really an answer to your question but while both the C10 and C10-35 share the same body shape they are very different guitars designed to sound, feel and play differently. The 35 has a wider nut, a beefier neck profile, different bracing, different fretboard material, different back sides (if you pick a rosewood C10) and different bracing and tone bars.
In short, they are not really comparable as they will sound and feel different and one should go with the one that sounds and feels best/right to you given your preferences and tastes.

Collings website lists the body depth as 4 1/4” for the C-10, C-10 Deluxe and the C10-35. I had a C10 Deluxe, German over maple, long scale for about 20 years. Great guitar, but I prefer my C10-35, which has a lot of punch. (I didn’t own them at the same time, so never got to compare them directly.)

Thanks for the clarifications on the structural differences between the 2 guitars. I hope to someday get a chance to play a C10-35.

The C10-35 won't add fullness. It will sound different enough you might be happy adding one. I'm wary about all the adjectives for sound, but for me it's a little more focused, cleaner and direct. It is a great guitar; but so is the C10, which I like just as much.
