IF it has to be Braz and cost IS a factor, I purchased a Larrivee Braz OM a while back for a reasonable price and it is the best OM I've ever played (fingerstyle). However, having owned 50+ (probably 60 by now) guitars over the years, many high end, the best ever has Zircote back and sides (Lowden). I had John Kinnaird make me a Braz over Adirondack Dred @ 12 or more years ago, and it is sensational. It's just getting to be too big for me as I have been shifting to smaller body guitars for several years. If it has to be new, just for example, Larrivee has a $5,000 upcharge just for Braz so best to go with a small luthier, and wait for a long time, and take your chances.

I have 2 acoustics with Brazilian back/sides and a fretless bass with a Brazilian fingerboard. They almost sound too good in the sense that I can't easily replace them. I'm contemplating adding Brazilian to a Wilborn Nautilus. Paranoid it'll be too nice to leave the house.
