One picture says it all
Would you buy this guitar? Helped with my GAS..it's a Martin 000-18 Amberburst 1933 from a Reverb ad... I thought my guitar pictures needed help.. Sounds like a great model though..

I would want to see the guitar before opining.
And if those pictures could be taken somewhere other than the bathroom, that'd be great. |

I actually came across it researching one just like it on CL. This one from an old Reverb ad was not located too far from the one now on CL. Could be the same one.
And who am I kidding. My GAS is such that I would only be temporarily discouraged. I would, however, have to figure out what disinfectants are compatible with a Martin finish. Appears to be 2 ply so the guitar was well cradled. And if that is the grade of guitar he keeps in his bathroom, one can only imagine what his music room holds. |

I heard an interview with Paul Simon once and he was asked how he came to write, "The Sound of Silence".
He said that his parents' bathroom was one of his favorite places to practice guitar and write songs. One night he walked into the bathroom with his guitar and turned off the light... the words, "Hello darkness my old friend" immediately popped into his mind. He sat on the toilet and wrote the song right then and there. Cool. |
