Default NGD: Taylor 412-R

I've had 'Rosie' for a month now, and I am absolutely thrilled with her! She's become my #1 guitar.

She has a wonderfully warm, dark, 'low-mid focused' tone that accompanies my singing voice quite well. She sounds wonderful fingerpicked, and also offers exceptional headroom for strumming (even aggressive strumming) despite the body size.

Thanks to John and Shoreline Music for the excellent recommendation, and for the exceptional customer service.

Very nice.
I was talking to John at Shoreline the other day about this model.
He just posted a video also.
The video was made a while ago so it might be your guitar Ed.

Yup—that was Ed's guitar.

I just got a shipping confirmation for our next 412-R, too. We should have it tomorrow.

Thanks all. Here's John's video:

and here's a demo video I recently shot for someone who asked me about this model:

Finally, if anyone would like to read my complete review of the guitar, I've posted it on the Shoreline page for this model.

Great choice. I'd love to have one of these.

Just a quick follow-up to say I am liking this guitar a little more every day.
Also, I put a set of GHS Signature Bronze Light strings on her, and boy is that a match made in Heaven! They brighten up the treble nicely, and add a rich, warm authority to the low-mids.
Wonderful.
