Great review!

If I have any GAS left, it would be for a Martin D18.

Thanks for the review. In my opinion, it was well done and I enjoyed it. I typically prefer rosewood bodied guitars, but it's nice to get a perspective from someone who seems to prefer mahogany bodied guitars.

Thanks and you're welcome.

I keep telling myself I need to get a rosewood guitar -- and I'm sure I will at some point -- but I always end up gravitating towards the mahogany. I think my ears prefer the more "fundamental" tone and I think my eyes like the way that mahogany guitars tend to have less ornamentation.

BIG Thanks great review........

I love my Martins but have always been curious about Collings which I know nothing about let alone play one. So it was helpful reading your review.

000-18........ my purchase of this little guy just over a week ago has given me a lease of life. Just wonderful. Martin did a great job again.

If my shoulders can handle the dread size, the D-18 would be in my stable as we speak. I think they are super.

Now I am hoping Martin will introduce the OM-18 and my GAS is over.

Thanks again........good job!
