Default Lawsuit Takamine F385 vs F400s

Looking for opinions on the sonic differences between these two models. Hopefully someone will chime in who has actually owned/played both. I have a 385 that sounds pretty good but I'd like something a little better. According to the Tak spec sheets, one of the primary differences is the 400s uses a solid top where the 385 is laminated sides, back and top.

Just wondering if a F400s is that much (if any) of a step up?

Maybe, maybe not.

Have to say that I've never played one of those lawsuit Taks that ever made me want to own it…

Not sure how much you have to spend, but I'd personally look elsewhere.

The solid top should make a huge difference.
