5 seconds into an opening soundtrack pretty much tells me whether to keep watching or back out quick and so I normally watch very little filmed after 1975

Yeah. Just finished Episode 2. Enjoyable. Total fantasy buttonpushing but I can handle that.

Am I crazy or does the mystery man who shows up every now & then look exactly like Marcy Darcy's first husband from "Married With Children"? Cause he's obviously meant to be super scary - like Anton Chigurh scary - but the resemblance tends to negate that.

I am not a big watcher these days, but Disney+ had the new episodes of Dr. Who (which I have followed for almost 40 years!) and lots of shows that our granddaughter likes.

There are the classic Disney movies, of course, but also the Muppet Show and many great films that I had heard of and never seen. ‘Coco’ is an incredible film that really got me misty, and sooner or later, I am going to re-watch an old favorite, ‘Snow Dogs’ with Cuba Gooding Jr.

Turns out that Disney+ is about my speed, too!

My wife and I are now into season 8 of Shetland.

So far I can't recall seeing anyone wearing a kilt, but definitely did not see any ponies.

I just discovered Mr Inbetween. First season is only 6 episodes of 30 minutes each. Second and third seasons have more. The lead role is played by the writer/creator Scott Ryan. Australian dark comedy. Pretty good! You'll know if you like it after the first episode.

I really like this show. I think season 2 is a good bit better than season 1, too. I kind of wish I'd waited until all/almost all episodes were ready to watch before starting. I'm not liking the week long wait for the next episode. Seen the first four so far.

All the episodes of this are out now. So far, so good...
