Oh me oh my... if these guitars could only talk:
My 1935 Kalamazoo Jamming with the late Mississippi Bluesman Eugene Powell with my cheap but mighty fine Harmony at his home in Greenville MS Holding one of Mississippi John Hurt's Guild guitars. It was given to the man sitting next to me.. Harry Tuft of the Denver Folklore Center. Ok, so this guitar wasn't mine but I at least got to play it for awhile. Taking a lesson from fingerpicking great Etta Baker in Morganton NC with my 000-16 Martin My favorite resonator - National Tri-Cone

Great photos Toby!!! That looks like a fairly recent photo of you and Harry Tuft. Do you know if he still has Mississippi John Hurt's Guild?

He may. I was out there about a year and a half ago. You can contact him at the Denver Folklore Center.
