Eight.
But that is mis-leading.
A few are kinda crap.
I should have just bought one nice acoustic and one nice electric.
Why did nobody tell me?

Just 2, a 6-string, and a 12-string. But I am planning to get a nylon string classical, probably Cordoba or Yamaha.

I just have my one. I'd obviously like to have more in my stable, but the budget just won't allow for it.

I have three, but my wife has two and I mostly play them when they get played.

Twixt guitars, banjos, mandos, ukes and harmonicas we have a view options at hand.

I have two and find that a perfect number for me. If I have more than that I which between them too much and really don't get a good playing session.

I have my first guitar, which is also a 3/4 travel guitar, a Luna Safari Muse with nylon strings. My second guitar, which is actually the guitar I fell in love with and started playing guitar so I could own, a Luna Henna Oasis. This guitar is the only acoustic/electric I have (so far), it has a cedar top and mahogany b/s. I also have a 12 string, a Taylor GA3-12. I have a Luna electric which doesn't get played much. I have a Taylor 516ce-LTD with Tasmanian Blackwood b/s on layaway that will be mine one day that sounds and looks amazing. I have a sweet little Savannah A style mandolin too. I have a nice variety of wood and tones that suit my ear and voice. Didn't stop me from loving a gorgeous koa I played this weekend, but will have to console myself with the Tasmaian Blackwood-can't afford both!

Hard to say, really... a bunch? All different, all useful... archtops, dread, cigar box, resonators, bass, nashville strung, vintage, new, solid, semi, lap steel, 12 fret, 14 fret (soon to be joined by a 13)... spruce, mahogany, maple, rosewood, IKEA-wood... all sorts. Good to have a hobby and it's way cheaper than boats.
