Great guitar! Maybe one of Martin's best ever. If I could only have one, that might be the model I'd choose.

Regarding online lessons - Justinguitar is great. Also check out a guy by the name of Davis Potts, he's at playsongnotes.com. He has some free lessons and it's only $3/month to get all his stuff on Patreon. I love his teaching style. He has helped me learn a bunch of songs in a short amount of time.

Have fun!

Well done! I'm eyeing one like that in my collection one day. Keep on rockin' and enjoy the journey. Kent

Great guitar.

And I love the color on that top that's starting to develop. Play it in good health.

I wish I could respond to each of you individually, but Im supposed to be "working" today, and when Im not "working", I have my baby just in arms reach! Working from home! What a world we're living in!

First off, that is a beautiful guitar, congratulations. Secondly, when my teenage son was first trying to learn guitar, he kept getting frustrated because he could not follow the strumming patterns or finger picking techniques he was watching on youtube, etc. Finally one day he came up to me totally frustrated, and said "I just can't get it". The only thing I could think of to say to him was "son, you've got to just "feel" it." He went back down stairs, and started practicing again. An hour later he came back up and simply said, "wow, thanks for that advice". And now he is playing leads and all kinds of things I can't do, and enjoying guitar everyday. So don't get frustrated...just "feel" it. Best of luck!

Such a beautiful guitar. The Martin 000-18GE is a superb instrument.

And please get this straight. You deserve that guitar. If you love playing guitar, no matter what your level, you deserve that guitar. And it seems like you're a player for sure.

Enjoy!

When I finally could afford nice acoustics (around 45 years old-20 years ago) the GE series were the best out there. If they had narrower saddle spacing I would have picked them. The 20 or 30 I tried in the 90's were all heavenly sounding. Yours is gorgeous. Enjoy the deep Martin tone.

Congratulations on an awesome "Do it All" guitar! This is one of the only guitars that I have regretted selling.

Enjoy in good health!
