I'm turning 32 this year and only became active on the forums in the last to seek help for amplification! I grew up listening to a lot of ballads, disco, funk, and rock from the 70s/80s and sing primarily. My older brother (40) took up the classical guitar when I was a kid and that made me want to learn the guitar. Only after years with the classical and finally realising that it doesn't go well with the voice, I switched to steel string acoustics and am only starting to listen to legends like Tommy Emmanuel and Chet Atkins.

In Asia, Singapore, the below-30 crowd using steel string acoustics are mostly kids attending megachurches and they all buy Taylor! It's a pretty large population of guitar owners but they mostly learn a few open chords and leave their guitars to rot in the humid weather so I doubt those people are on AGF!
