I used to own this guitar myself, with the cutaway, and it played so much easier than nearly all other guitars I’ve ever owned or played.

The AS is not easy to find! I think they're even more attractive without the cutaway! Good score!

I also own a Martin 00 18 that plays so easy, but this Mcilroy somehow plays better. The low action combined with a neck curve that fits my hand perfectly is calling to me right now.

Nice looking guitar. Interesting bridge for an acoustic. Make some music.

Congratulations!! Yours is absolutely beautiful!!!

I’ve owned 3 Mcilroys (A30c AS30c and AP25) and loved each of them. My AP25 custom is my keeper for life. Love everything about it. Dermot sure makes fine guitars.

Congratulations on the beautiful Mcilroy! I am on my second, an A25c which is now a lifetime guitar. I absolutely love everything about it.

The '26' designation, I am guessing, suggests a different spruce than sitka?

2 = Walnut B&S
6 = Italian Spruce top.

Funny, there are two of us on page 1 with "NGD- McIlroy" posts. Bet that's never happened before!

Mine is an A-19, all Brazilian mahogany. I just spent a couple hours playing it, and am delighted with it.

Congrats on yours, offkey, it's a beauty!

D'Addario does the colored ball ends. I'm not aware of another maker that does that. They seal the strings in envelopes in groups so I think that's why they color the ends to make it easier to tell them apart.
