Default Time In A Bottle (Jim Croce) acoustic cover

Hi folks! This is our new arrangend acoustic cover version of an epic folk song from 1972. "Time In A Bottle". Written and released by Jim Croce this sweet tune is one of my all-time favs. My dear friend Rachelle Amanda gave this project a very special feeling with her soulful voice and I'm super proud that she made this cover together with me.

I hope you enjoy it!
Greetings from Hamburg, Jimmy

Very nice, Jimmy. A classic song for sure, and your take on it honors the spirit of the original. Thanks for sharing this beautiful rendition.

Great job ! Lovely playing, lovely singing, lovely engineering. Jim would have been proud, I'm sure.

I've been playing this song for decades. Fun fact, last week, for the first time ever, I performed this song as a duet, with my partner playing Jim's guitar part and me playing Maury's. That second guitar part takes the song beyond the stratosphere, where it was originally conceived. Jim's genius was matched by Maury's, something that seems to defy the laws of physics !

This is beautifully done, Jimmy! Great job by everyone involved.

I still remember the day Jim Croce died. I was just a kid, but it hit me hard. His was one of the first 8 track tapes I ever bought

Thanks for this gem!

Beautiful. Very nice sounding guitar, beautiful vocal rendition. Very moving interpretation bringing the nostalgic feeling just like it should.

And yes, you're so right. This wonderful piece is a milestone of the folk music history. A world class song.

This is truly beautiful, and not just in comparison to "covers" that some of us post. But I can't seem to put my curmudgeon hat down just yet.

Did any of you notice that none of the video shows any one actually PLAYING the guitar? There's footage at the beginning of a gentleman (presumably the OP) picking up and holding a guitar. And late in the tape there's a still of the same gent holding a guitar. But, it's a STILL!

A strange production technique. The rendition of the song is lovely enough that I should just shut up, I guess.
