I never look in on this forum, but I just released an acoustic guitar transcription of Beethoven piano sonata #8, second movement. It's over in Show and Tell. Perhaps some of the regulars over here have the stamina for a 6:20 piece.

Anyone else enjoy Andrew York’s music as much as I seem to?
In Sorrow's Wake is a nice piece. I have the whole suite. Vey contemplative.

I like his work, most is too hard for me, too long or both

You may want to look into Andrew York’s Eight Discernments which are student pieces. My favorite is Snowflight.

This week I am working on Canary Jig (Gaspar Sanz) and Arkansas Traveler (unknown). So much to learn, so little time.

After a long long pause I'm back again and I’m working on these very difficult Brasilian rhythms and harmonies (I can see I’m not alone in with that here) : Bossa Nova, Samba, Forro., …

I’m also working on other Latin American music especially from The Andes (Chile, Peru, …) I’ve always been fascinated by the way they strum with their hands. That’s brilliant and rhythmically challenging.

I’ve never played classical music but the lists of yours make me feel like doing it.

I have that, thanks. It's on my "to do" list (which is long).

What am I working on? I’m not sure how many on this forum get over the Show and Tell, but last week I posted a movement from Beethoven’s piano sonata #8.

What am I working on?

I'm designing / building a new thinline acoustic / electric based on John Smith's Smithcaster, built by Fylde's Roger Bucknall. Mine will be all hog, a slot head, and convertible between steel and nylon strings.

Music-wise? I'm focused on working out a chordal melodic version of J.P. Fraley's "Maysville", suitable for either steel or nylon strung guitar.

Going back in time a bit to relearn a Sylvius Weiss Suite. Also dabbling in using a reproduction of an original tab of a Dowling lute manuscript.
